A fairly quiet month In Australia after the travel of May. The highlights for RealTime CEO this month were visits to speak with TEC Groups in Melbourne and Newcastle – Newcastle, New South Wales that is – not its namesake, Newcastle on Tyne UK! (Funnily enough, Nick will be travelling there next month.)
Did you know that Newcastle, NSW is the largest coal exporting port in the world – Sorry UK?
Also, were you aware that Before Melbourne was Melbourne, it was called Batmania? Not because the first settlers were obsessed with Gotham City and Bruce Wayne, but for John Batman, the Australian-born colonist who was one of Melbourne’s founding fathers.
